Many of you already know that I have taken on a new assignment,  I am the New Partoit Club Manager at Offutt Air Force Base.  I began in April with high hopes that I could manage the Club , KFAB What's in Season, kids, life with my husband in another city and The CLASSY GOURMET.  Not so much....

In attempt to continue to offer cooking classes, The CLASSY GOURMET  began renting out the kitchen in January 2010.  The concept  was to  " CO-Op the Kitchen"  to other businesses in need of  a commercial kitchen.  Times are tough with the recovering economy and many of those business have closed or have yet to make it off the ground. 

We can on longer be Omaha's Cooking School. The CLASSY GOURMET will be closing the physical storefront location due to lack of participation in cooking classes and private events, along with the increasing cost doing business. But first, we would like to give our customers one last chance to gather together for "Good Food, Good Wine and Good Fun"!  We had planned to close our doors at the end of the year, and are know unsure if we will be able to make it into our last holiday season.

WE NEED YOUR HELP! 

Help us to finish out the 2010 year. So many Omaha business end up closing the door and the last two weeks of business are the best days of there life. WE ARE ASKING YOU to get your friends, co-workers, and family together one last time and enjoy cooking in our kitchen. Book your last cooking classes, private event of Holiday Party today.

We would like to have the opportunity to sell to a overachieving, fun loving customer who has always wanted to be in the "Foodie" business. The chance of that happening are slim but if they do I will be on cloud nine.

If you are a gift certificate holder, get in to see us soon. The next 20 days will be your last chance to use your gift cards. It has been a wonderful 8 plus years, and although sad to have to close, I still am and will always be Colleen Cleek, The Classy Gourmet.

We have a few dates left in October left for private events ! We specialize in Hands-on cooking or Demonstration classes for your next office team building event, birthday, gourmet group, or for your family & friends. A typical Lunch Cooking Party runs from 11:30am-2:00pm or 12:30-3:00 and Dinner Parties from 6:30-9:00pm. You will have several lunch & dinner menus to choose from. Our Chef instructors are experienced professional, equally adept at leading both eager novice and the experienced home cook. These events are a great time and we hope you will join us for our last month! For more information please check out our private event packages.

There are still a few seats left to catch the last 4 days of the Culinary Boot Camp. This five class course takes students along on a personal journey revealing the tips, tricks, cooking techniques, and recipes as well as functional insights on the professional cooking world. This course gives students a step up in the kitchen. The course will touch on knife skills throughout as well as every different cooking method. The Culinary Boot Camp with begin October 7th at 6:30 pm and run every Thursday.
